When should I make or update my Will?

When should I write or update my Will? – Blended Families

Unfortunately, the Law still favours married couples, no matter how long you have been together.  Meaning you are not protected in the same way as a married couple.  If you have children, in some circumstances, it means they miss out inheriting anything.

Without a Will, you Partner will not legally inherit anything except jointly owned assets.  It also means they are not entitled to sort out your affairs and theirs and your wishes could be ignored.

Writing your Will is the only way to provide rights to your partner and to make your wishes clear.
